An editing service for the publishing industry is filling a position for a Virtual Pathology Editor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Ensuring flow, transition, correct terminology, correctness of content, and coherence within the document
- Ensuring the preservation of the author's intended meaning
- Ensuring appropriate manuscript format conforming to academic conventions
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of relevant academic copyediting/substantive editing/proofreading experience
- Extensive subject matter expertise
- Knack for diligently editing, restructuring, and polishing articles written by non-native speakers
- Proficiency and competence in the most widely spoken language across the world English
- Must have immaculate grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and word choice
