Job Summary
A healthcare industry service provider has an open position for a Virtual Patient Intake Coordinator and Scheduler in Bridgeport.
Must be able to:
- Schedule appointments and verify insurance
- Obtain complete and accurate information
- Provide excellent customer service to a diverse age and ethnic population
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must have a dedicated office space that can be closed off by a door for security
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in medical-oriented scheduling environment
- Adept at handling large call volumes, preferably with use of VOIP call systems
- Working knowledge of the following systems: EPIC/Cerner and/or PHS
- Efficiently schedule radiology and diagnostic procedures
- Experience with basic insurance guidelines
