Job Summary

A managed care services provider is in need of a Virtual Prior Authorization Nurse in Chicago.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Review and collect medical information in order to determine the medical necessity of services
• Ensure that services provided to eligible members are within benefit plan
• Initiate and continue direct communication with health care providers

Qualifications for this position include:

• Required A High School or GED
• Required 2 years of experience in Nursing
• Required Licensed Practical Nurse
• Ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
