Job Summary
A provider for communities with complex needs has a current position open for a Virtual Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Must be able to:
- Manage a complex population of members
- Decrease unnecessary hospitalizations, emergency room visits, and unnecessary speciality referrals
- Complete comprehensive provider visits with new assigned members
Position Requirements Include:
- Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with an unrestricted license to practice in the state
- Active DEA Controlled Substance Registration or eligible for application
- A valid ANCC Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification
- Maintenance of professional credentialing and CME standards
- Experience providing direct mental health treatment and/or substance use treatment
- Experience providing clinical services to individuals with chronic medical and behavioral health conditions
