Job Summary

A software development and consulting company is filling a position for a Virtual School Speech Language Pathologist Job in Scriba.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

Doing research with people who don't have speech, language, or swallowing disorders
Providing aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing
Providing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders

Skills and Requirements Include:

Bachelor's degree in Speech Language and Hearing Science
A post-baccalaureate program in SLHS/CSD
One speech in Physiology of the Speech Mechanism
Speech in Phonetics (transcription skills)
A sense of empathy
