Job Summary

A staffing agency has a current position open for a Virtual Senior Accountant in Knoxville.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Assist with internal audits, maintain appropriate documentation to ensure SOX compliance
• Gather, verify and input cross-functional data into the lease management tool
• Assist with the monthly and quarterly close processes through the preparation of journal entries

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Experience with lease accounting rules under ASC 842 Leases
• Experience with large ERP system (SAP preferred), strong in Excel and PC skills
• BS/BA in Accounting and at least 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency with U.S GAAP
• High level proficiency SAP
• Ability to work under conditions of pressure and adjust to urgent situations
