Job Summary

A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Senior Food Industry Extrusion Process Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Identifying technology and equipment that is the best fit for required solutions
  • Managing the oversight of equipment negotiation, purchase, installation, and commissioning
  • Building quality control into processes for quality and food safety

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Experience with extrusion in the food industry
  • Experience with commissioning and manufacturing scale-up projects
  • Heavy project management skills
  • BS Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or related science
  • Experience in a Food/Beverage and/or Biotech company · Extrusion experience
