Job Summary

A healthcare company is in need of a Virtual Senior Medical Coder.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Working with clinicians to review patient records
• Ensuring diagnosis and procedure codes performed during patients’ stay are valid
• Aabstracting and assigning diagnosis and procedure codes

Qualifications Include:

• Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
• Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 3 years of outpatient medical coding work experience in the Same Day Surgery specialty
• Certification in one of the following: CPC, CPC-H, CIC, COC, or CCS
