Job Summary
A company is looking for a Virtual Sign Language Interpreter to provide remote interpretation services in educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time sign language interpretation for students and staff in virtual classroom settings
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support students' educational goals
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while adhering to school policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3.5 EIPA score (4.0 preferred)
- Successful completion of the EIPA written portion
- Proven experience in educational settings, preferably as a virtual or in-person interpreter
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Strong technical skills and the ability to navigate virtual platforms
