Job Summary
A school district is seeking a Virtual Special Education Teacher in North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual instruction to students with special needs, adapting curriculum to meet individualized education plans (IEPs) and learning styles
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement and academic success
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student growth and achievement
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Special Education
- Valid North Carolina Special Education teaching certification
- 2 years of experience in schools
- Prior experience working with students with diverse learning needs and abilities
- Comfortable working in a virtual environment and proficient in technology platforms for remote instruction
