Job Summary

An information technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual Technical Support Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Provide thoughtful direction and support for technical inquiries
  • Research, reproduce, troubleshoot, and solve highly challenging technical issues
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours, holiday, weekend support coverage

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of experience in a support related, customer-facing role
  • Strong understanding of Java, Python, and/or another programming language
  • Hands-on experience working in a leadership or escalations role
  • BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Able to debug and identify network issues
