Job Summary

A publishing company is filling a position for a Virtual Visual Sports Fan Data Editor.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Writing and publishing engaging content on designated fan communities
• Working with the editorial team on smart and visual presentations of major stories
• Proposing solutions to design challenges, especially in the form of understandable infographics

Required Skills:

• Ability to tell stories with charts and maps and photos
• Intense passion and knowledge about the world of sports and sports fandom
• Comfortable with Excel, basic programming, and database systems
• Understanding of how crowd-sourced data informs journalism
