Job Summary

A publishing company has a current position open for a Virtual Weekend Night Editor.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

Assigning, writing, and editing unique and timely stories
Monitoring social media and search trends to find and identify stories and topics of interest
Working closely with reporters to develop story ideas

Skills and Requirements Include:

At least five years of experience in journalism
Able to work weekend nights along with three weeknights
Familiarity with using social media and Google trends
Comfortable working on stories across a range of subjects (crime, health, business, etc)
The ability to work quickly and cleanly while under pressure is essential
