Job Summary

We are interested in hiring Stenographers to transcribe verbatim pre-recorded, unscripted footage for our busy seasons which will be coming up after the holidays.

Daily Transcription is a transcription services company that primarily deals with the transcription of entertainment files such as cooking shows and reality television shows but we do have other files come in from time to time and are looking to expand our horizons.

Typical Tasks/Responsibilities: transcribe pre-recorded video footage verbatim, proofread and edit transcript, if necessary make sure transcript is converted properly to a .doc file in Word, comply with all procedures and style guides for each assignment.

You will need to provide, at own expense, all necessary Stenography equipment, softwares, and materials to produce the verbatim assignment.

This position can lead to higher paying transcription positions or Quality Control positions for successful contractors.

You will need to pass a test evaluation in order to be considered for this position.
