Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Representative to assist hospitals and medical providers in resolving accounts related to work-related injuries.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts
• Contact relevant parties to obtain injury and insurance information and submit claims to insurance carriers
• Review payments and denials, write and submit appeals, and ensure timely payment of bills

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
• 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, coding, claims adjudication, or Workers' Compensation
• Proficiency in data entry, word processing, and MS Office applications
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations
• Strong customer service background with a positive attitude
