Job Summary
Detail-oriented and proactive professionals will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Workers Compensation Claims Representative, responsible for managing claims processes, gathering necessary information, and ensuring timely payments for hospitals and medical providers related to work-related injuries.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and ensure timely communication with relevant parties
- Submit claims and documentation to insurance carriers, review payments and denials, and write appeals as necessary
- Provide strong customer service to clients and assist patients with inquiries regarding the Workers' Compensation process
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
- 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, claims adjudication, or Workers' Compensation
- Proficiency in data entry and MS Office applications
- Strong customer service background with clear communication skills
- Ability to manage a large workload efficiently and adapt to changing priorities
