Knowledge of outpatient coding, coding guidelines, official coding resources and disease processes. 97% accuracy in order to meet data quality standards for professional services. AHIMA, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCS-P certification. AAPC, CPC, or COC certification.
Must be able to: Prepare reports from the scheduling tools as needed. Schedule coding resources appropriately according to established need. Assist with entry, calculation and tracking of productivity and/or quality data as needed. Required Skills: High school diploma or GED required.
Qualifications for this position include: Keeps informed of the changes/updates in the ICD/CPT by attending appropriate training, reviewing coding clinics and other resources. Registered Health Information Administrator RHIA, RHIT, CPC. High school diploma or GED.
Attending conference calls and meetings as requested. Consulting with our clients, physicians, other clinical resources and contractors as necessary. Required Skills: Active unrestricted RN license in good standing. Must be able to independently use standard office computer technology.
