An education company needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual CPA Curriculum Development Senior Specialist. Core Responsibilities of this position include: Writing new accounting course content. Reviewing accounting content developed by subject matter experts.
Assist with the selection, recruitment, development, and evaluation of staff for the Online division. Provide indirect supervision for the management/staff supporting the Online division. Qualifications for this position include:
Doctorate Degree in Education required. Separate qualifications and/or licensure may be required for some degree programs. Instructional Design and development experience. Must demonstrate technological competency.
Partner with design and development team and cross-functional faculty team to design the student experience. Qualifications Include: Participate in regular meetings. A master’s degree with significant industry and/or professional experience.
Proven track record of successful faculty development and program leadership within the discipline of IT. 5+ years of demonstrated teaching excellence in a variety of courses at the post-secondary level. 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience, preferably at a post-secondary institution.
Developing and teaching lessons within curriculum defined by the school. Monitoring student progress and assisting students in accomplishing established learning objectives. Providing students with appropriate assignments. Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or related area. CPA. 5+ Year's experience in public accounting, technical accounting or related field. Experience with technical accounting, audit, tax, and project management. Experience with standard Office software.
Performing Instruction, course development and syllabus review/updating. Being responsive and timely communication with students in the online environment. Promoting interdisciplinary work within and beyond the Department. Qualifications for this position include:
Overseeing the use and development of the CRM for all college admissions. Operating in close partnership with colleagues in Educational Technology, Reporting and Analytics. Consistently ensuring the effective use and implementation of the CRM. Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Understanding and appreciation of competency-based education model. Fluent use of educational technological platforms and common office software packages. Able to spend significant time working at a computer and communicate at a high level in writing skills.
