Doing coding quality audits. Auditing 10 charts per month per coder. Applicants must meet the following qualifications: Inpatient and Outpatient Facility experience. Level 1 trauma/teaching facility experience. CCS, RHIT, RHIA. 5 years of experience.
Expertise in Physicians at Teaching Hospitals requirements and guidelines. Communicates professionally and effectively with clients, coding staff, and GeBBS corporate staff. Must hold at least one of the following certifications: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, COC.
5+ years strong IP Coding experience, preferably in a teaching hospital. AHIMA certification (CCS, RHIT, RHIA) Experience working in a large acute care facility. Experience coding critical care patients including transplants, spinal fusion, sepsis, and neurology.
Must be comfortable in attending clinical department meetings as needed. Expertise in coding complex surgical areas such as Neurosurgery, Vascular, Cardiovascular, etc. Experience working in a university facility setting or a large trauma/teaching hospital. CPC or CGSC certification.
Required Skills: Must have at least five years strong IP Coding experience, preferably in a trauma/teaching hospital. Must have AHIMA certification (CCS, RHIT, RHIA) Must have worked in a large acute care facility.
