4+ years of experience in litigation, including all phases of long-term care litigation. Substantial experience with Chapter 74 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code. Familiarity with LTC defense, regulations, CMS, standard of care, etc. A license to practice in Texas.
Communicating with a wide variety of individuals, to include CEO's, claimants, providers offices, and attorneys. Being responsible for the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of assigned claims. Applicants must meet the following qualifications: Experience taking statements.
