Job Summary

An accredited, online education program is seeking a Remote Secondary Art Teacher in El Paso, Lubbock, or Brownsville, Texas.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Completing all grading, creating progress reports and conducting parent conferences in a timely manner
• Supporting the instructional program with asynchronous web conferencing sessions and synchronous instruction
• Reviewing curriculum and devising alternate approaches to presenting lessons to increase student understanding

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Highly qualified and certified to teach secondary art in Texas (appropriate to grade level responsibilities); ACP candidates seeking an internship are not eligible
• Must hold or being willing to immediately obtain TxVSN Certification
• Strong technology skills
• Customer focused approach
• High degree of flexibility
• Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment
