Job Summary
A private, evangelical Christian, liberal arts university that is affiliated with the Wesleyan Church denomination needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Social Work Faculty Member.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Serve as the Director of the MSW program
- Assist with the development and management of the BSW and MSW program
- Teach in the Bachelor of Social Work and other Behavioral Sciences programs online for adult learners as needed
Qualifications for this position include:
- Hold a doctorate in Social Work or closely related, human service field (ABD candidates will be considered (must be within six months of completion upon hiring with letter of verification for the dissertation chair)
- Must hold a MSW from a CSWE accredited institution
- Must hold the highest, recognized license in Social Work within his/her State of residence
- Two years of post-master’s social work degree practice experience
- Demonstrated teaching proficiency
- Demonstrated ability for research and scholarly activities
