Job Summary

An accredited, online education program is seeking a Remote Special Education Teacher in Elkhart, Kansas.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing and providing instructional guidance, virtual teaching and general strategies for a caseload of students
  • Developing, writing and helping implement IEPs and 504 plans
  • Evaluating tests and assessments, completing report cards and conducting parent conferences

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Degree in special education or related education field
  • Valid Special Education credential (grades K-12) in Kansas
  • Experience in policy (IDEA) and/or administration with Special Education
  • Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office products)
  • Customer focused approach
  • High degree of flexibility
