Job Summary
A major multinational mass media and information firm is seeking a Virtual Senior State Content Editor in Texas.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing, writing and editing Texas law-specific know-how and current awareness content for practicing attorney-subscribers
- Working with other staff on content planning and priorities to meet the practice needs of Texas-based business transactional attorneys
- Producing a wide range of corporate resources
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- J.D. required
- Six years experience working as a corporate and business transactional lawyer in Texas-based law firm or as in-house counsel with in-depth transactional work experience in corporate and M&A matters
- Excellent understanding of Texas corporate, business organizations and Texas market practice
- A good understanding of the needs and priorities of Texas law firm and in-house counsel and the Texas legal market
- Actively licensed in Texas
