Job Summary

A business software company is filling a position for a Work at Home Technical Writer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Documenting product functionality, troubleshooting, and best practices through research, cross-functional teamwork and hands-on product testing
  • Determining and using appropriate methods and tools to best educate customers
  • Working closely with staff to gather content requirements, and review/approve documentation

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Five plus years working experience in Technical Writing, English, Journalism or related degree
  • Five years current experience creating technical customer facing content
  • Working knowledge of RoboHelp and other help content creation tools, including online help content creation tools
  • Strong knowledge of best practices and technical writing standards
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles
