Job Summary
A business software company is filling a position for a Work at Home Technical Writer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Documenting product functionality, troubleshooting, and best practices through research, cross-functional teamwork and hands-on product testing
- Determining and using appropriate methods and tools to best educate customers
- Working closely with staff to gather content requirements, and review/approve documentation
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Five plus years working experience in Technical Writing, English, Journalism or related degree
- Five years current experience creating technical customer facing content
- Working knowledge of RoboHelp and other help content creation tools, including online help content creation tools
- Strong knowledge of best practices and technical writing standards
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles
