Website Coordinator- Telecommute

This position coordinates the ongoing maintenance, production, and development of all web assets. Working in conjunction with the marketing, design, and all staff across the organization the Website Coordinator updates and maintains website content, graphics and page layouts. This position is responsible for the overall management and accountability of the organization’s intranet and public websites.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in web development, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Organization, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude are also essential.

**Primary Responsibilities**
Designs and optimizes page layouts for the organization’s intranet and public websites.

Works with graphic design team to optimize images, layouts, and overall website “look and feel” to align with the organization’s brand.

Collaborates with customer experience designers, content specialists, analysts, and UI developers in the coordination of content, navigation, design and development of websites.

Ensures content is delivered in a timely manner; updates sites with relevant content and materials to keep the site fresh and engaging.


**Secondary Responsibilities**
Leads the investigating, troubleshooting and resolution of production issues that arise.

Assists in development of web-based standards, guidelines, and conventions.

Develops an awareness of NFI’s message and brand; works with appropriate staff members to ensure that site design and content aligns with the brand.

**Minimum Qualifications**
3+ years of web design/production experience with corporate/organizational websites and have a Bachelors’ degree in related field.

Strong background and hands-on experience in web design and layout. Strong knowledge of HTML and familiar with Web 2.0 applications.

Knowledge of web design concepts: usability, page layout, and navigational structures.

Thorough knowledge of and the ability to work within various web and graphic applications; working knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver preferred.


**Other Desired Qualifications**
Experience writing content for websites a plus.

Experience with the process of web application development a plus.
