Freelance Administrative/Marketing Assistant

Career Coach Institute is seeking an Administrative and Marketing Assistant for a part-time position approximately 20-25 hours per week. Responsibilities include email marketing to in-house database; writing copy for newsletter, web pages and flyers; updating and revising web pages in Dreamweaver; preparing press releases; writing email “autoresponders” (series of emails on one event); interfacing with CCI CEO and other staff; assisting with scheduling and planning of upcoming marketing campaigns; cultivating joint venture partnerships and assisting with various marketing strategies; and similar duties. 

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Dreamweaver and the internet with the ability to learn quickly. Adobe Illustrator a plus. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong email, copywriting and design skills, very accurate computer entry, and ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities easily. Must be independent and motivated self-starter, able to complete duties with minimal supervision. 

CCI is a rapidly growing career coach training company, operating primarily over the internet, email and telephone. Its students are in 35 countries and nearly every state. Based in Wilsonville, all 20 of our current staff work from various locations from home offices and are independent contractors, as this position will be, allowing you to also do work for other clients as you see fit. 

The applicant must meet the following requirements: 
• Minimum 2-5 years clerical/marketing experience 
• Excellent writing and email skills 
• Proven ability to work independently, learn quickly and follow through on tasks within or ahead of designated timelines 
• Computer skills including MS Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook as well as Dreamweaver; Adobe Illustrator a plus; search-engine optimization (SEO) and experience with Pay Per Click advertising, online article placements, and the like are highly desirable 
• Self-motivated, highly organized, multi-tasker 
• Holds self to high work ethic/standard 
• Resourceful/takes the initiative to solve problems that may arise 
• Quick thinker and worker 
• Excellent references

This is an independent contractor position. 

Pay is dependent upon qualifications and will be a set hourly rate; applicant will be responsible for his/her own income taxes.
