2D Character Artist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Videogame 2D Character Artist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Create 2D digital character assets and various types of 2D artwork
• Collaborate with the Art and Narrative Teams to ensure artwork aligns with the game's visual design
• Participate in internal game testing and communicate progress and challenges effectively

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a professional-level 2D digital character artist
• Strong illustration skills with a deep understanding of perspective, lighting, and human form
• Ability to work within an established artistic style, particularly that of J.C. Leyendecker
• Proficient in art tools, including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong self-discipline and ability to balance and prioritize tasks effectively
