340B Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of rejected pharmacy claims, the full-time 340B Claims Specialist will ensure maximum payer reimbursement and timely billing while working remotely in a non-retail pharmacy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manages and resolves rejected pharmacy claims to secure timely reimbursement
• Researches and analyzes claims, collaborating with Medicare D plans and insurance companies
• Monitors revenue risks and converts billing exception reports for accurate financial processing

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Customer service experience required; up to one year of related experience preferred
• Ability to retain and apply a large amount of information effectively
• Basic math aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and insurance industry trends is desirable
