340B Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of rejected pharmacy claims, the full-time 340B Claims Specialist will ensure maximum payer reimbursement and timely billing while working remotely in a non-retail pharmacy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identifies and manages rejected pharmacy claims to optimize payer reimbursement
• Researches and resolves claims by collaborating with Medicare D plans, third-party insurers, and state Medicaid plans
• Monitors revenue risks related to billing processes and prepares necessary reports

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Customer service experience required; up to one year of related experience preferred
• Ability to retain and apply large amounts of information in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
• Pharmacy technician certification is preferred but not required
