3D Electrical Designer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic engineering team, the full-time 3D Electrical Designer will create and refine detailed drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT, conduct site walkdowns, and mentor junior team members while adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT, performing internal reviews and clash detection
• Conduct site walkdowns and collaborate with engineers and other designers for design concept interpretation
• Perform self-checks and mentor junior designers to ensure high-quality outputs and adherence to safety standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with a minimum of 1 year of design engineering experience, or an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 6 years, or a minimum of 10 years of experience
• Proficient in 2D and 3D design software, specifically AutoCAD and Revit; BIM360 knowledge is preferred
• Working knowledge of basic engineering techniques, principles, and standards relevant to electrical design
• Ability to travel 10-15% of the time based on project and client needs
• Knowledge of Electrical Design codes and standards pertinent to various design aspects
