3D Structural Designer
Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented 3D Structural Designer for a full-time position across multiple U.S. locations, who will create and refine detailed engineering drawings, perform site walkdowns, and mentor junior team members while utilizing advanced design tools such as REVIT and AutoCAD.
Key responsibilities
- Create and modify detailed engineering drawings using Plant 3D, including layout, piping isometrics, and P&ID drawings
- Conduct site walkdowns and generate comprehensive walkdown reports
- Perform quality control checks on drawings and provide mentorship to junior designers
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 1 year of design engineering experience, or an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience, or 8 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, NAVISWORKS, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/BIM 360), and Dynamo
- Experience with structural concrete and steel modeling, including the creation and maintenance of Revit families
- Familiarity with clash detection, model review, and BIM coordination in multidisciplinary environments
- Knowledge of engineering techniques, codes, and standards relevant to design execution
