Job Summary
To support the accurate and compliant management of retirement plan documents, the full-time 401(k) Plan Document Administrator will draft and amend plan documents, complete assigned projects within specified timeframes, and collaborate with internal teams and clients primarily in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and amend plan documents for various qualified retirement plans, including adoption agreements and plan amendments
- Complete document requests and projects for Start-Up and Takeover Plans, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve as a contact for internal clients, responding to inquiries and collaborating with team members to ensure project completion
Required qualifications
- Basic knowledge of IRS/DOL rules and regulations applicable to retirement plans
- Experience with pre-approved plan documents using web-based vendor platforms
- Familiarity with Self Correction Program (SCP) and Voluntary Correction Program (VCP) under EPCRS is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online/web-based applications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship
