508 Compliance Analyst
Job Summary
To ensure digital accessibility, the full-time 508 Compliance Analyst will test, audit, and remediate e-learning modules, documents, games, and web assets for compliance with Section 508 standards, primarily working remotely with occasional on-site presence in Silver Spring, MD.
Key responsibilities
- Test and audit digital assets to ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards
- Remediate e-learning modules, documents, and web content using assistive technologies
- Advise and educate content creators on best practices for building accessible materials
Required qualifications
- BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in accessibility
- Hands-on experience with Section 508 testing and remediation of digital files
- Familiarity with HHS 508 Product Assessment Templates and reporting frameworks
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability clearance
