508 Compliance Tester

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part Time 508 Compliance Tester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, create, and execute test cases for Section 508 Compliance testing
• Record problems/defects identified during testing and retest after resolution
• Verify compliance with 508 accessibility standards and suggest solutions for accessibility barriers

Required Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Section 508 Compliance testing
• Working knowledge of standard 508 testing tools, with a preference for JAWS
• Experience in Manual/Functional Testing and knowledge of Defect Management processes
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, Agile, mobile, and web development
• US Citizenship or permanent resident with the ability to obtain public trust clearance
