508 Test Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a 508 Test Engineer to support quality engineering and software validation activities in federal environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for various testing types including functional and integration testing
• Perform manual and automated testing of applications, APIs, and web services while validating workflows and data outputs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile ceremonies to ensure high-quality software delivery

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance engineering
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including functional and regression testing
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
