Absence Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Associate, Absence Subject Matter Expert (SME), Complex Implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead detailed absence discovery sessions and document current-state practices and operational challenges
• Serve as the absence subject matter resource during complex implementations and support system setup
• Proactively identify potential gaps during implementation and validate compliance alignment with regulations

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in absence management, disability, or leave administration
• Strong expertise in vendor-based and carrier-based absence administration models
• Experience managing large, multi-location or national clients (1,000+ lives preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into structured documentation
• Bachelor's degree preferred
