Job Summary

A company is looking for an Advising & Transfer Credit Specialist to provide academic support and transfer credit evaluations for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advising and academic coaching for up to 150 students
• Conduct preliminary transfer credit evaluations and consult with the registrar's office
• Monitor academic progress and collaborate with students to develop personalized action plans

Required Qualifications and Education

• Master's degree in higher education administration, counseling, or a closely related field preferred
• Experience in higher education advising or coaching, preferably with adult students
• Proficiency in the use of technology
• Commitment to a culturally and socio-economically diverse learning environment
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and adhere to FERPA guidelines
