Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Advisor to support and empower student success in the School of Art and Design.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise assigned undergraduates on academic progress and success using developmental advising practices
• Guide students in goal-setting, course selection, and navigating graduation requirements
• Manage advising-related projects and oversee the Peer-to-Peer mentoring program

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (art and design, education, student affairs, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience in counseling, academic advising, or student services
• Familiarity with current art and design practices, trends, and art history
• Experience supporting a diverse range of students, staff, and faculty
