Academic Advisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Advisor to guide and support students in their academic journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with students through various remote channels to provide academic advising and support
• Utilize diverse advising strategies to motivate and guide students towards successful program completion
• Document student interactions and process degree changes and program requests accurately and timely

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• One year of professional office experience, preferably in academic advising
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred
• Understanding of student development theory and effective advising practices
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and navigate technology changes effectively
