Job Summary

Academic Advisor, a full-time remote position, guides and supports students in their academic journeys through various communication methods while ensuring effective advising and relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with students through various remote channels to address academic inquiries and provide guidance
• Document student interactions and maintain accurate records of degree changes and program adjustments
• Engage in professional development and collaborate with other departments to enhance student support services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• One year of professional office experience, preferably in academic advising
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred
• Understanding of student development theory and effective advising practices
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing technologies
