Academic Advisor

Job Summary

Providing academic and financial assistance to students, the full-time remote Academic and Finance Advisor I will manage student loads, support at-risk students, and monitor academic progress while communicating through various channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage student load and complete daily tasks using designated tools
• Proactively identify and support at-risk students, connecting them to necessary resources
• Advise students on financial aid requirements and monitor their academic progress for compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience in advising or customer service required
• Experience in student services or a collegial setting preferred
• Knowledge of financial aid programs and university policies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technology for online engagement
