Job Summary

Managing a student case load, the full-time remote Academic Advisor will provide educational advisement, assist students in navigating university policies, and focus on building rapport to enhance student retention and graduation rates.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a case load of students, providing coaching and support for persistence and success
• Communicate regularly with students via phone and email to foster relationships and ensure retention
• Collaborate with various departments to monitor student attendance and academic performance

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience in diagnosing student needs and utilizing resources for improvement
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
