Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Advisor (Online/Remote) to guide and support students through their academic programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with students through various remote means such as email, phone, and chat to provide academic advising and answer questions
• Review and process degree changes and program adds, considering credit impact and student planning
• Participate in professional development activities and engage in university committees and organizations

Required Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and have at least one year of professional office experience
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Familiarity with student development theory and academic advising best practices
• Prior experience working with students from diverse backgrounds is desirable
