Job Summary

Providing personalized support to students, the full-time remote Academic and Finance Counselor will guide learners in balancing their academic goals and financial plans, while managing student accounts and facilitating effective communication across various channels.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted guide for students, explaining university policies and financial aid guidelines
• Manage a caseload of students, ensuring proactive communication and support towards their academic goals
• Handle student Accounts Receivable, including document collection and financial aid processing

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of three years of related experience in advising, student services, or customer service required
• Experience with Financial Aid or Title IX regulations preferred
• Background in academic advising within a college or university setting preferred
• Familiarity with online learning environments and technology-driven settings preferred
