Academic Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Designer to develop instructional materials for teachers and students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and develop instructional content for various formats, including lessons and supporting resources
• Contribute to publishing initiatives by creating prototypes, guidelines, and project proposals
• Act as a liaison between vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth content development workflows

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in literacy curriculum development and educational publishing, preferably for grades 6 to 8
• Strong knowledge of content development best practices and literacy pedagogy
• Proficiency with digital learning tools and publishing software, including MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with creating accessible content is preferred
