Job Summary
To support the development of innovative educational content, the remote Project Status Worker (PSW) position for an Academic Designer for Literacy focused on PreK-K and Multilingual Learners will plan and develop instructional materials, edit content for linguistic accessibility, and collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality curriculum aligned with educational standards.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and develop instructional content for teacher and student materials, including lessons and multimedia projects
- Edit content to ensure appropriate scaffolding and accessibility for multilingual learners
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to develop project proposals and guidelines while managing project documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in elementary education, literacy, linguistics, or a related field with at least 2 years of experience in literacy curriculum development
- Strong knowledge of literacy content development practices and ELA/ELD standards
- Highly organized and collaborative, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in project delivery
- Proficiency in digital learning tools, authoring systems, and advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Smartsheet, and K4/InCopy markup is preferred
