Academic Designer, Literacy

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Academic Designer, Literacy for grades 6-8, this position will manage the planning and development of high-quality educational content, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure adherence to curriculum standards through effective project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Planning and developing content for teacher and student materials, including lessons and resources
• Assisting in the creation of prototypes, guidelines, and project proposals
• Acting as the main contact between vendors, engineering teams, and Academic Design teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, literacy, linguistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in literacy curriculum development for grades 6-8
• Teaching experience is advantageous
• Expertise in content development practices and curriculum standards
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and digital authoring systems
