Academic Designer, Literacy K-2

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Designer, Literacy K-2.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and develop content for teacher and student materials, including lessons and resources
• Assist in the creation of prototypes, guidelines, and project documentation
• Act as a liaison between vendors, internal teams, and Academic Design teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in elementary education, literacy, linguistics, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in literacy curriculum development and educational publishing
• Subject matter expertise in the Science of Reading and culturally responsive pedagogy
• Teaching experience is an advantage
• Highly organized and collaborative with a commitment to quality and accuracy
