Academic Designer, Science K-5

Job Summary

To support the development of engaging educational content, the remote Academic Designer, Science K-5 will create instructional materials for print and digital Science products aimed at K-5 students and teachers, ensuring high-quality standards and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting in the development of elementary science instructional materials in both print and digital formats
• Producing accurate, high-quality instructional content that meets curriculum standards
• Collaborating with teams to meet project schedules and product goals while following approved workflows

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in education, science, or science education
• 5+ years of experience in educational publishing or significant editorial experience
• Experience with digital curriculum development and educational products
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Classroom teaching experience is a plus
